Zimbabwe...

It has been some time since last time, i`m a bit lazy nowadays...
When it comes to work, nothing new has happened, same old...

I have been to Zimbabwe with Ole and Linda, visiting Jo-Håkon (volunteer in Zimbabwe) in Chinhoyi, a town in Zimbabwe. Jo-Jåkons host sister was getting married and we were inviteed to the wedding. With over 400 guests, the wedding was a great experience. Jo`s father is some kind of a pastor or something so a lot of people were invited. We even had to dance in front of all of the guests, great entertainment for them, seeing us muzungoes try to boogie around! Me and Linda did a short Swing dance, which i think was appreciated after a lot of cheering =D Anyway, a great wedding and a great experience...

We also visited Chinhoyi caves. The caves are amazing with crystal clear blue water. I have never seen anything like it! I will post some photos as soon as I have them =D

After the caves we went to Harare, the capitol city of Zimbabwe. It is a quite big town compared to for example Livingstone. We stayed at a backpacker called Small world backpacker, a nice place. We were invited to Lake Chivero (40km south of Harare) by a Skydiving dude named Rob, which i had only spoken to on the phone. He invited us for a Brai (BBQ) by the lake, and some parasailing. The motor was "injured" so when i tried i scraped the surface of the water and plunged in...not a success, but at least i tried...=)
In the evening we took a boat out for a sunset cruise, where we saw Rhinos and other animals. Very cool since i haven`t seen any Rhinos before this..

We went back to Harare, and again we were invited for a Brai over at Rob`s place. I had a deal with him buying a parachute rig from him. After the Brai he drove us home, but on the way we stopped to buy some bus tickets. Mats from Namibia (who also visited) went out to take a piss, and two minutes later he had 4 guys (one with an AK) holding him and put him in irons, because he was urinating in public and "resisting an arrest". Very very funny....after some talking and a small bribe (5dollars) to one of the guards, they let him go...For me and Ole it was hilarious...Also a great experience.

The next day, we took the bus back to Lusaka (12hours), and 6 hours from Lusaka to Livingstone...Ronnie was happy with buying his own rig and cant wait to try it...

I will post pictures from everything as soon as i have them =)

Cheers!
